Shoppers Pinched by Inflation

The cost of meat, poultry, fish, and eggs has gone up by 13% within the past 12 months and Americans are starting to wonder when they will finally feel a sense of relief from inflation.

While standard grocery item prices have gone up, there has only been a 7.6% increase in fresh fruits and vegetables in the past 12 months.

As a whole, gas prices have gone up a whopping 38% from just a mere year ago. With premium oil already at a high price, it is now in more demand than ever before.

Surprisingly enough, the price of women's jewelry and watches has increased by 13.5% in the past year.

The cost of rent in certain residential areas has increased by 4.2% because of inflation.
