Kim Kardashian arrived safely in the United States on Oct. 3rd, after her traumatic robbery experience occurred in Paris.
After the news was released to the public, the sexual assault jokes came raging on from social media outlets. Kim Kardashian was alone in her Paris apartment when five armed men disguised in police attire barged their way inside. She was then bound at the wrists and ankles, blindfolded, and thrown in the master bathroom bathtub, according to published reports.
Kardashian begged for her life repeatedly screaming about her two children and how she is a mother, according to published reports.
Kardashian detached herself from her famous self image and reminded the burglars that she too is a human being with a family. Kim told police that when the men tied her ankles, she thought they were all going to sexually assault her, and murder her.
Joan Frances of Rockland Community College agreed with the stereotype behind Kim Kardashian’s sexual image, yet she also realized how that is not an excuse to degrade her. “Just because she has a sexualized image doesn’t give people the right to make violent jokes against her,” said Frances.
Kardashian was lucky enough to remained physically unharmed, and the robbers left the star in the bathtub, while they stole over $10 million dollars worth of jewelry.

Kardashian was also put under scrutiny for showing off her gems on social media, just a few days before the robbery. Reports claim that the robbers were irrationally shouting “ring! ring!!” clearly looking for the lavish engagement ring from her husband Kanye West.
Social media managers agree that perhaps by flaunting her wealth, as well as her location, it put her at risk for being a soft target.

Kardashian arrived back in the New York city on October 3rd, looking shaken up from her ordeal as she left the airport with her protective husband Kanye West close behind her. Kim has been laying low and only spending time with those she trusts. Sister Khloe Kardashian in a recent interview said how her sister has a “very long road for recovery ahead of her”, due to the mental and psychological trauma she endured during the robbery. Kim has a huge fan base and a world famous family to rely on to help her through, as well as to defend her against the inhumane sexual assault jokes flooding the internet.
