Life in the Age of COVID: A Recap
By Kelly Brennan
Two years ago we entered a worldwide pandemic where people suddenly had to buy masks, gloves, and sanitizers in bulk. Essentials like toilet paper and baby formula flew off of shelves at stores and didn’t return for months. Many stores began to put limits on what you could buy. The world went virtual; everything from business meetings to kindergarten classes became a Zoom session. Events like weddings, and birthday parties became drive-by celebrations or got pushed back two to three years. With the COVID Vaccine becoming widely available later in 2021, we returned to a sense of normalcy with students returning to school and hopes for a better and brighter future.
