Village of Hope?

COLUMBIA, S.C.- The small community of Roosevelt Village suffered from rampant crime and neglect throughout their neighborhood. However, a five-figure donation from the Wesley United Methodist Church turned the village from a rundown, derelict area to a beacon of hope within the city of Columbia.

  • The hundreds of Roosevelt Village residents live in fear of the shootings, drug deals, and other illegal activities that surround the complex on a nightly basis.
